Job Description
Company Creative Head.

Wanted a dynamic creative head with professional technical skills for film Pre production, production and postproduction.

Responsibilities

  • Representative of the creative teams
  • Guides the execution of creative concepts and copy
  • Mentoring and fostering other designers and writers
  • Developing creative briefs and other documentation as needed
  • Be responsible for maintaining all technical film and video equipment of studio
  • Need to travel time to time domestic and abroad to brief company projects to TV Channels

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Knowledge of high Definition Television System and Computer Networking is essential.
  • 5 years + experience on editing for video and film on adobe premiere/ Avid or Final cut Pro.
  • Should have at list one film, short film or documentary broadcasted on television
  • Job profile will include creating packaging/ promos and film trailers, formatting television content, and training junior/trainee editors, and online switching.
  • Diploma holders with at least 5 yrs exp may also be considered. Relevant exp in TV and film.
  • Innovation/Creative Thinking, Problem Solving/Judgement, Achievement Orientation, Listening, Understanding and Responding.
  • Strong interpersonal and public relations skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willing to travel domestic and international frequently
  • Project management skills and ability to work within multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to work to standards with a good eye for detail.
  • Confidence in troubleshooting technical faults on-location and within the studio environment.
  • Command of on-air graphic systems and computer applications.
  • Post-secondary diploma in film production or demonstrated production skills.

Knowledge and Skills Required

  • Multi-tasking as well as excellent written and oral communication in English is needed

Knowledge and Skills Desired but not essential

  • Knowledge of South Asian culture
  • Work knowledge in Bollywood film industry and film distribution is an asset

3D & Animation film Related:

  • Knowledge of Maya or similar software capabilities
